ClassFront(c)2007 ClassFront is something we're very excited about! It is a unique application that allows network users to have full access to software installed on the network from their home PC, but without having to install the software! Many large corporations have implemented Microsoft's Terminal Services, or similar software. The set-up cost in hardware and software to allow 200 remote users to connect could easily exceed fifty thousand Pounds! ClassFront is a software-only solution that achieves mostly the same result, but for a fraction of the cost! ClassFront was designed for schools (hence the name) although it works equally well for businesses. As can be imagined, schools have rather unique data protection problems, combined with students that often consider it a challenge to try and subvert the school network's security. ClassFront was designed to cope with this and has several built-in security measures, including an encrypted connection as standard. If you have workers requiring access to your network via VPN, or workers that need the same software available at home as what they have at work, then ClassFront would offer you many advantages! ClassFront comes with a site license as standard when installed at schools. For commercial installations there is a sliding scale, depending how many remote users will require access.
