Our Toolbar
We strongly suggest that you download and install our toolbar, which comes in two versions - one for Internet Explorer and one for Firefox. The Firefox version download link is at the very bottom of the page, while Internet Explorer users can simply click the image below:
Our toolbar allows you to search the Internet using Google or any other search engine of your choice, it blocks pop-up windows and allows you to quickly and easily erase cookies and even your browsing history from your PC.
Those functions tend to be quite standard on browser toolbars, but we have a few items that are absolutely unique:
The Nel-Barker.co.uk toolbar integrates with our EarlyAlert service, which simply means you will receive alerts to help you keep your personal information and your computer safe, without having to check our web site.
We have integrated remote support functionality into the toolbar, so that we can do repairs on your PC over the Internet and work on your machine as if sat in front of it. Of course, YOU remain in control at all times. You need to start the session from your PC and you can see everything we do. When we disconnect, the software automagically removes itself from your PC.
You can view your computer's unique Internet IP address directly from the toolbar, and it can check your mailbox and let you know whenever you have new e-mail.
It also links to our broadband speed test, which as you will notice is not linked to directly from any other page. This simply means the only way to gain access to our speed test is by installing the toolbar.
Also on the same page as our speed test are various Internet performance indicators showing the current state of the Internet.
Finally, unlike so many other toolbars, our toolbar is completely spyware free.
